Chicken Alfredo

This is a really simple, yummy, and healthy way to make chicken alfredo. My kids love it and so do Neal and I. I've changed the original recipe to make it healthier, but if you want the original recipe just let me know and I'll email it to you. It is a great way to get the kids to eat some veggies. It's easy to eat veggies when there's cheese smoothering them.

-16 oz whole wheat organic pasta-for some reason the shape really matters to my kids
-1 1/2-2 bags of shredded parmesean cheese
-bag of frozen carrots (i prefer fresh, but this time i used frozed)
-bag of frozen broccoli
-parkay spray butter (0 calories, 0 fat-i'm not sure how they pull that off)
-1/2 cup skim milk
-1 tbs corn starch
-cooked, boneless, skinless, chicken breast (sometimes we leave this out and make a vegetarian meal, emmy and ally prefer it this way)
.in a boiler salt water real well and add pasta and carrots, cook until just before done and add broccoli. Turn off heat and prepare sauce.
.in a sauce pan over medium heat, put in fake butter, then add cheese. you must stir constantly. when cheese is melted gradually work in corn starch and milk mixture until smooth. pour over strained pasta and veggies, salt and serve.

i'm hoping i didn't leave anything out. if it sounds weird just let me know and i'll fill in the blanks.
enjoy
